Tika Moon is a trained professional singer with an emphasis in theatre, dance, flute and guitar. Tika can seamlessly go from jazz, to blues, to belting out a rock song or sweetly singing a lullaby. With over 35 years of performing experience, she has an almost 3 octave range and sings a variety of genres of music. She has her own style which has been influenced by jazz, blues, pop, rock, classical, Americana, showtunes, and country.
After extensive training in college to be a professional performer and music teacher, she went on to be an actress and singer for Bay Area theatre companies in over 50 productions and counting. Tika has performed many of her dream roles, including the Mae Tuck in "Tuck Everlasting", Sister Robert Anne in "Sister Rober Anne's Cabaret Class", Baker's Wife in “Into the Woods”, Mrs. Lovett in “Sweeney Todd”, Lucy Van Pelt in “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown”, Grandma Addams in “The Addams Family Musical”, a member of a 4 person cast in “I Love You, You're Perfect, NOW CHANGE!” (one of Top Torn Tickets 2018 Best Musicals), and Mrs. Potts in “Beauty and the Beast”.
Tika is an accountant & music teacher at Art & Soul School for the Creative Arts (voice, piano, guitar, flute & ukulele) as well as acting coach. Tika is also the producer and host of Edgy Open Mic at Iron Ox Brewery in Santa Rosa, along with the Edgy Variety Shows. Her goal is always to keep encouraging others to follow their dreams and grow as a performer!

Alan Roter is a professional living, working and playing music in the Bay Area for over 30 years.
After many years of performing with the Footnotes jazz band and the Redwood City community theatre, he moved to Healdsburg and met Tika while auditioning for Evil Dead at the Raven theatre. He had such a great time performing with the Evil Dead band, under Tika’s direction, that he jumped at the opportunity to play with Tika and the Moonshines.
Alan strives to add texture, a velvety smooth roughness, to the stylistically diverse music of the Moonshines.
Alan harnessed his inner zombie for the lead guitarist at the Raven Players, in beautiful Downton Healdsburg, for Evil Dead the Musical in 2023 and 2022.
VOCALS
Isabelle (Izzy) is a trained vocalist and actress who is an east coast transplant. Moving to the north bay several years ago, Izzy has been making a name for herself in the theatre world big time. In fact, that is exactly how her path crossed with Tika. They were in Tuck Everlasting at Spreckels together in the spring of 2023 and the two knew they were meant to perform together.

Anthony is quite a talented guitarist; he loves to rock out to classic rock and country tunes and can play a mean slide. He's one of the newest additions to the Moonshine family and brings years of experience to the band with his classic sexy look, and intricate solos, Anthony is ready to rock out and show you what he's made of. Anthony is also a teacher at Art & Soul School for the Creative Arts where he mentors students in guitar and bass guitar.

Matt is an actor and musician, as well as singer/songwriter. Matt joined Tika for the End of Summer Block Party on a misty afternoon in downtown Santa Rosa. He plays with the Moonshines for select performances.

Tika first met Matt when they were performing in Sweeney Todd as the leading killer couple - Mrs. Lovett and Sweeney Todd. After singing with Matt, she knew he had something special and have performed in music groups several times together since then.
Once upon a time, Matt was in a rock band complete with long luscious locks of hair. now he's traded that in for a fabulous family and has been working on his own album and solo set. You can find his music on Spotify.
Matt now has his very own band, The Strangers, performing along with Karl, Chris and Lou they tackle many classic rock covers as well as many beautifully written originals, by Matt.

Tika met Rob at Edgy Open Mic, where many talented performers get together regularly to perform and support each other. Many Edgy folks have collaborated for various shows and Tika is thrilled to have Rob as part of the Moonshines team from time to time. Rob is now the sound engineer for Edgy Open Mic and has become a staple at Edgy.
Rob plays sax and piano with multiple groups including Stretch Denim, Still Blue Quartet, Kid Galaga, and X Confidence!
Honorary Moonshine: KEYS & VOCALS
Liz Fanora is a singer/ songwriter who will sometimes surprise you with a funny song, soft and sweet number, or belt out some cover song. Balanced with her power vocals and guitar skills, she is a true performer. No matter what Liz performs, you will end up with a huge smile on your face.
Honorary Moonshine: Bass
Chris Newton is an all-around true musician. Playing multiple instruments, as well as being a music teacher, Chris makes everything he does shine bright like a full moon.

Molly Larsen-Shine has been doing theater around Sonoma County for over a decade! Some of her most favorite roles include: Mouse/Bird/Squirrel/Mole in "A Year with Frog and Toad" (6th Street Playhouse: 2023), Little Becky Two Shoes in Urinetown (Spreckels: 2020), Cosette in "Les Miserables" (Music To My Ears: 2019), and Polly Peachum in "Threepenny Opera" (6th Street Playhouse: 2016). Molly has an ability to very quickly pick up harmonies as well as blend with other vocalists. Whether it be belting in her low range or flying in her high range, she is always ready for whatever musical challenge Tika may throw her way!
Molly is a longtime resident of Santa Rosa and is married to her wonderful wife: Jessica. Together they navigate through life’s ups & downs with their two fur babies, Zeke and Peta.

Tyler is a student at Santa Rosa Junior College and studied under the tutelage of Erica Dori at Windsor High School. Besides playing percussion, Tyler plays the flute and was also drum major in high school. Tyler met Tika when he played in the pit for Evil Dead the musical at the Raven Performing Arts Center.

Nappi is a highly skilled musician who can slap a bass harder than anyone. He excels at playing by ear and is impeccable at improvisation. Nappi was part of a metal band and is now along for the ride with Tika. He met Tika when she was music director of Evil Dead the Musical at The Raven Performing Arts Center.
