Molly Larsen-Shine has been doing theater around Sonoma County for a decade! From her humble beginnings in Cinnabar's Young Rep Program. Molly has an ability to very quickly pick up harmonies as well as blend with other vocalists. She can belt like the best of them, as well as sing you sweetly to sleep if you so desired. Gifted with an almost 3 octave range, Molly can crush whatever song is thrown at her with grace and ease. Tika likes to say that Molly isn’t a back-up singer, she’s a front-up singer because a voice like Molly’s deserves to be in the spotlight.
Molly’s favorite theatrical roles include The Prince in “The Winter Rose” (2010), Tessa in “The Gondoliers”, and Helene in “La Belle Helene”. She was last seen on the stage, in pre-covid times, in “Urinetown” as Becky Two Shoes, the ensemble of “Young Frankenstein” at the Raven Performing Arts Center, as Cosette in “Les Miserables with Music to My Ears”, the ensemble in “Hello Dolly” at Sonoma Arts Live! and “Polly Peachum” at 6th St Playhouse.
Molly met Tika over 10 years ago in a show called “Seussical the Musical” at the Raven performing Arts center, when she was just a teenager. The pair reconnected again when they were both cast in “Young Frankenstein” in 2019. From there, Tika scooped up Molly and all her talent to become the core of the band, Tika and the Moon-Shines. In fact, Molly is the one who came up with the band name. Tika was stuck on what to call it, seeing as how they have many music styles they incorporate. Molly said, “You know our last names make the word MOON-SHINE” and that was it, they were now an official band!
Molly’s greatest source of support is her beautiful wife who pushes her to follow her dreams, and never become complacent in her anxiety. She would also like to give a shout out to her dog/fur baby Pita for always giving the best kisses.

Tika Moon is a trained professional singer with an emphasis in theatre, dance, flute and guitar. Tika can seamlessly go from jazz, to blues, to belting out a rock song or sweetly singing a lullaby. With over 30 years of performing experience, she has an almost 3 octave range and sings a variety of genres of music. She has her own style which has been influenced by jazz, blues, pop, rock, Americana and country.
Tika started out at the wee age of 8 learning to play the clarinet, which she disliked, so she switched to the flute. After years of band, jazz, band and marching band, she finally got the nerve to sing in front of someone and she auditioned for the high school musical, Leader of the Pack. While her audition was less than stellar due to nerves, she landed a role in the ensemble. After that, she realized that being on the stage was more important than being in the orchestra.
Tika’s senior year in high school was compiled of all the arts she could fit in: Show Choir, Concert Choir, Band, Marching Band and she had the honor of being the Drum Major as well. Along the way she dabbled in other instruments and learned to play the piccolo, bells as well as a little piano, percussion, and saxophone.
After extensive training in college to be a professional performer and/or music teacher, she went on to be an actress and singer for Bay Area theatre companies in over 40 productions and counting. Tika has performed many of her dream roles, including Lucy Van Pelt at the Novato Theatre Company in “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown”. Had a blast being 102 year old Grandma Addams at Spreckels in “The Addams Family Musical”. She was lucky enough to portray Mrs. Lovett in “Sweeney Todd”, be part of the 4 person cast in “I Love You, You're Perfect, NOW CHANGE!” (one of Top Torn Tickets 2018 Best Musicals) and multiple characters “Shrek the Musical” at the Raven Performing Arts Center. Tika has also made numerous appearances at 6th Street Playhouse over the last 25 years. Some of her favorites there include the Baker's Wife in “Into the Woods”, Mrs. Potts in “Beauty and the Beast”, and Crystal – “Little Shop of Horrors”. And when not in a world-wide pandemic, hosts the 6th Street’s Sing A Long Movie events.
Now that Tika had accomplished so much in the world of theater, she wanted to turn to her dream of being in a band. She realized that she wanted to create her own unique sound and style, so she would need to create her own band. Tika took up learning another instrument, this time the guitar. With this skill she would become a self sufficient performer and be able to sing where and when she wanted to. All of her musical training and experience have led to her having a clear vision with her performances.
Just a mere month before the Covid Shelter in place took hold, the trio were on their way to local stardom. But pandemics will not keep these performers from performing. They are committed to bringing the joy of music wherever and whenever they can.

Erica Dori has been an active performer on various instruments since the early 2000's. She loves playing drums and percussion for musical theater in the North Bay area and has played in numerous shows at Spreckel's Performing Arts Center in Rohnert Park, The Healdsburg Raven Theater, 6th Street Playhouse in Santa Rosa, and the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Every holiday season Erica is an active caroler with the Silver Belles Caroling Group, the 12th Night Carolers, and most recently the North Bay Piccola Carolers. She is a proud member of vocal group Circa 1600, an ensemble of Sonoma Bach. She plays percussion for the Sonoma County Philharmonic and trombone in the Windsor Jazz Ensemble.
After earning a BA in Music Education from Sonoma State University and her teaching credential, Erica enjoyed a 10-year career as the Director of Music at Windsor High School. She currently teaches privately at Music To My Ears in Cotati and is pursuing her next career in nursing.
Tika met Erica when they were in "Sweeny Todd" at the Raven Performing Arts Center. Erica was manning at least a 20 piece percussion section in the orchestra pit, while Tika was onstage as Mrs. Lovett. The next time they connected was on stage in Anything Goes. Erica landed the role of Erma, and thoroughly delighted audiences. The two kept crossing paths over the next few years in other musical theatre productions. They both had such mutual respect and adoration for each other that it was inevitable that they would wind up being in a band together. Tika loves how versatile Erica's skills are and loves to make sure she also gets to sing along with her and Molly.
